Hello Friends....

Wow, it's been awhile since I've posted!
Things around here have been a little on the busy side.
My husband has been traveling alot lately, so when he has been Home
we have been busy getting things ready for the change of season that is
soon to be on it's way.
Things that I can only help him do when he is Home.

Recently he was gone out of the country for about nine days....

his flight lasted almost nine hours....
(all pictures seen were taken by him)

He was able to see some beautiful countryside....
Can you guess where he went??

He dined in some fabulous restaurants....

 Stayed in some gorgeous hotels....

And saw firsthand some areas of the World some of us only dream of....
as did he at one time!
This is only a "smidgen" of what he was fortunate to view!

He tells me he would like to "guest post" about his travels for me.
I hope to keep him at his promise!

I on the other hand was the lucky recipient of a few gifts
when he finally arrived Home.

He does thoughtful things like that!

He brought me this beautiful scarf from Paris....
along with one for each of our girls specially chosen by dad.

 Some wonderfully scented hand cremes....

and remember the "box" that arrived and he said was mine....

These beautiful Blue Topaz earrings were inside....
(I'm afraid my little camera doesn't do them justice)
they are gorgeous!

 I am one lucky girl!

He left yesterday for a few more days.
This time to San Antonio....
I love you honey and Miss you like crazy!

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

  3. Gee...could you ever hitch a ride on one of these trips? What a thoughtful husband...such sweet gifts. Hope that you keep him to his promise! Was the first photo really France? It looked like Italy to me.

    1. You are correct Vee! He went to Milan, Italy first then was off to Toulouse, France and then ended with his last 4 days in Paris. I didn't want to post too much in hopes that he does in fact do a bit of a guest post. Thanks for stopping!

  4. I agree with Vee, I was thinking Italy by the first photo. Thanks for clarifying that. Wow, it looks like a wonderful trip. Keeping my fingers crossed for a guest post :).
So thoughtful of him to bring home such beautiful gifts. When my kids were growing up my husband often traveled to foreign countries. My favorite part was when he got back and unloaded his suitcase.

  9. My husband also travels quite a bit for his job. Just in the US though. If he went over seas I'd have a list of things for him to look for! :)

Love the earrings! That's very thoughtful of him.
