Well, I think the upgrade package is only $5, at least that is what it was last time I had to upgrade. If you delete pictures, they will delete from any post you had them in. Sorry, I decided the $5 was worth it. Hugs, Marty
Before deleting any posts make sure you make a hard copy of them...you will be thankful you did. I know some people have moved photos to a Flickr stream and posted the link on their sidebar...and then some have just started a new blog...I will probably upgrade when the time comes because I have had so many blogs in the eight years I have been blogging that I can't bear to 'start over' again. Good luck with your decision.
I have never heard of this, and you're the second blogger this morning who has mentioned it. So I'm supposing that this lovely extortion plan is coming to me soon too! Good luck with getting it figured out. And be sure to write a post about it when you do! :-)
You don't have to delete your old posts, just delete the pictures. If you have some posts that really don't need the pictures than that is the way to go. Sometimes deleting the posts may not let you post more pics. My pics are at picaso and I have to go there and delete the pictures from them too, if I delete the posts only.
I'm not sure if that works or not but my upgrade package is $5 a year through google.
Don't delete anything! Always resize all photos before uploading them to Picasa in the first place. 650 by 488 is a good size and doesn't even count; Only pics above 800 by 800 count. Go to Picasa and click on web album. Your own stuff will be right there. Now find the old headers (why? because they are usually the largest photos and delete them IF you don't plan to use them again. That will create some room so that you can keep on going.) I can't imagine why anyone would purchase space because it is up to $20 a year...not a lot, but so unnecessary.
I would enjoy hearing from you!
