This, That & even the Bathroom Sink....

We are having beautiful weather here today
and this weekend they say.  So today I am out
putzin' in the yard.  I just had to take a picture of
my rhododendron it's in full bloom...

The Hosta's are full and the Daylilies are getting bushy....

 Everything's BIG here lately....
even my Mother's Day card from Hillary!!
Thanks Hill....Love You Too!!

You may be saying to yourself right now....
What's up with the "bathroom sink"??
Well....

anything can be made into a planter....
Yep, even the Bathroom Sink!!

 or so my Hubby says!
It is kinda of cute....
Don't you think??
Not something you'd see in just anybody's garden!
But Why Not....
it's recycling at it's best!

(don't worry the finish was beyond repair otherwise we wouldn't do this!)

Okay, I've had a couple little projects going today.
So now I think I will make myself a
~lemonade~
and read my book right here in the shade!
See the lattice pieces behind the swing?
I'm trying NOT to Nag nudging Dear Hubby to
put those up on that side of the porch for our
Wisteria to attach to, instead of  attaching to my swing!

What are you doing today!

  1. I just got through mulching. Boy, it's hot. At the back of my daughter's property in the country, there is a sink like that. I told her I wanted it, and she just looked at me. She bought the house I rent. She says no to chickens too...

  3. Lisa, Your porch is just beautiful. I'm so envious that you have such pretty colors of paint and I spy a bird house that I just love! Those hanging lanterns are terrific too.
