I baked Banana Nut Bread yesterday and it was the best I had ever had...it was a new recipe that I tried from the Taste of Home cookbook. I calls for cream cheese (which I've never used before), pecans sprinkled on top of the bread before you bake it and an orange glaze after it's baked! I've never done these things before with Banana Nut Bread.
I am sitting here just feeling miserible with a bad cold. My nose and head hurt and when I came across your post, I just wanted to crawl thru the computer and sit at your table with a warm cuppa and a slice of bread! Blessings~LillySue
