I Went Thrifting....

and I had soooo much Fun!

Remember my little blue birdhouse waiting for a bluebird?
Well, she arrived today and she is checking out her new home!

I also found this really cute wooden, sort of, booklet
and when you open it up....

it has this adorable saying and Easter basket.
I paid $2.00!!!!

I also found this antique postcard hanging surrounded with
antiqued tin in a sagey green....also $2.00!!!!

I wanted something different to try and force a bulb to bloom for my kitchen and I found this.... for a $1.50!!!! It says it is from West Germany!

THEN....I came upon a tote full of those letters you would see,
say on a sign somewhere that can be changed. So, I took the liberty of going thru them and picking out what I wanted and hoping they would sell me just a few. They did.....for $2.00, I have a few ideas for these when I decide which to do I will show you. It was fun just to be able to take my time and roam thru this 3 story building.

Usually, I am with somebody and I feel more rushed....not today!

  2. What a treasure trove of thrift finds! Where did you go for these bargains? I love everything!

I saw a blogger decorate her wood letters by tracing them on scrapbook paper & using Mod Podge to glue it on. She spelled out SPRING!

  8. The little bluebird is the sweetest! I don't know why I have a thing for bluebirds now, but I do. Arwen and I are hoping to open our Etsy stores this spring and I just know bluebirds are going to be seen a lot in mine. Isn't it fun finding treasures!!
    Blessings- LillySue
