The Colors are a Changin'....

This past weekend we headed North!

We got up at our usual hour on Friday
got our daughter off to school
packed up the car and were
out the door by
8:00 a.m.

 The further North we got....

and the more the Sun shined (or is it shone?)....

 the colors  just
Popped!

I did my best to get
a few pic's from inside the
car speeding up the highway!

To our final destination....

Any guesses where we went?

Hope you had a Great Weekend as well!
Stay tuned for more on what we did....

Make sure you tell me where you think we ended up!

  1. Aren't those gorgeous colors! That road could have been any road in our area right now. But I don't know your destination. Lake Superior?

  6. Cape Cod? I am such a Pacific Northwesterner - it could be anywhere on the East Coast! Or, on a lake somewhere....

Where ever you went, it is beautiful!

    I enjoy your blog!

  7. That could only be the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island! There is nothin' like Northern Michigan in the fall : ) Enjoy!

  8. I'm here late, but, I see the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island there! We're heading "up north" in two weeks for our anniversary. But, alas, I'm afraid the colors will be all gone. Did they seem to change earlier this year to you? Our anniversary is October 14th and we ALWAYS enjoyed the colors then in past years.
