I'm in Limbo....

I want to sit out here and enjoy the last days of Summer!
It has been such a miserably hot Summer season that
sitting outside for any amount of time just hasn't been
enjoyable for me!  So now that the temps are a bit more
tolerable, this is where I want to be....

reading a good book and enjoying a nice cold beverage.

enjoying what's left, if anything, of our flower beds....

~But~
the cooler temps we've been having at night
also makes me want to get my
~Fall~
stuff out!

but, is that rushing it a bit?
If I bring it out, that means
those cold temps will suddenly turn into....
well, I'm not ready to go there!

This is what my back entry looked like last year....
I love decorating for Fall....

Putting out a Fun Welcome Mat....

 And inviting in my
~Guests~

I just need a little more inspiration!

How about you, are you getting your Fall on?
or
Are in in Limbo like me?

  2. I'm just in limbo waiting for a spark of inspiration...my front porch still has the cottage summer look and I am so ready to change it...but it is still too hot to spend any amount of time outside working on it.

  3. I am in total limbo.. right along with ya. I tried last Friday to get in the Fall spirit of decorating
but it was a complete fail. It is 92 today, and not feeling one bit like Fall. Although it is going
to cool down a bit this weekend. I usually keep my fall items up clear through Thanksgiving
so I'm not a bit worried about not having enough time to enjoy them. When we are safely
out of the 90s I think I'll be dragging out my fall boxes as well.

Oh.. and I love your entry. So cute and festive. You'll have to share what you do this year. ;O)

  4. If a couple dozen fall leaves counts as anything... ;D

It is 85F right now so doesn't feel much like fall. I think the cooler temps of next week will have me baking apple pies and shopping for mums.

Hope that you get many more days to enjoy the weather in that chair with a good magazine and a cup of coffee.

  5. We aren't cooling down too much here just yet but seeing all the inspiration in blogland has me excited to decorate. I haven't yet but I bet I will in the next few weeks.

  6. Oh I so am in limbo!!! However, living in the suburbs outside of Memphis, the heat index was well over 100 today. I don't
know if I can pull out the fall with it being that hot! So, why don't you put yours out then it might inspire me to do mine too! ;-P

  7. Oh I love that vignette from your porch? I too love the fall decor but have held off other than to put out some gold and yellow flowers. Here it is still so hot that I cannot even feel fall yet. Ugh!!!!

  8. Kind of stuck somewhere in between. I really like to wait until the first of October to decorate for fall.

  9. I know what you mean. This summer was so darn hot. I didn't want to sit outside at all.
The days are still warm here in California. At least the nights are starting to cool off. I just decorated my mantel and table. Love the mat.

  10. You realize thus considerably when it comes to this matter, made me personally believe it from so many varied angles. Its like women and men don’t seem to be involved until it is something to accomplish with Girl gaga! Your own stuffs outstanding. Always care for it up!

  11. I promis my husband that I won't start the Halloween decorations until October1. I love all the decorations and he hates them. I will wait until next week before the transformation starts.
