Yep...I need help!
Two of the 3 in this picture below
are in BIG trouble....
with my hubby!
Yeah, I know all 3 of them are ADORABLE....
even the blonde one....
most of the time!
But, don't let them fool ya
they're problem causer's!
The darker....newer one mostly.
The blonde one caught the darker one
in the act....
using her back feet paws!
Digging Holes....
back under our bushes....
any place she they can find....
Laying on my flowers....
crushing the new growth....
tipping over my pots....
and making paths where there were none!
So we went on the search for Something
that might STOP their disrespectful
Behavior!
And we found this.
It's a spray....
it's supposed to deter their interest,
with a smell
and a texture of some sort.
Haven't sprayed any yet,
so not sure how or if it will actually work.
It was only $10.99 so it won't break the bank if it doesn't!
My question is....
If you've ever had this problem,
what have you used that works?
Or have you tried this product and did you like it?
These are just my questions.
I'm not getting paid in any way for this post.
Wish I were, but I am not!
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated!
Our yard was supposed to be on the garden walk in our
little town this year....
but with this activity, that's not going to happen!
Well, guess I will go spray now!
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!
Have a delightful weekend!
He is kind of cute, but I'm sure that you don't want him destroying the garden. Let me know if that stuff works as I have a couple of dogs on the loose. My own dog is kept on a leash when out of doors and isn't out at all unless we're out as well. She would LOVE to do her business all over the garden. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI haven't a clue.
ReplyDeleteLet us know how if it works though. I have a little bugger of my own, but she's not a digger. You never know
when she might take the notion to start though.. lol.
Good Morning Lisa Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteLet me know if the product works for the dogs. I can tell you first hand it does not deter the cats. We have cats in our neighborhood that have been hopping our fence and spraying the heck out of everything. I tried spraying this product everywhere and it hasn't stopped them one single bit. I was disappointed to say the least, as it is supposed to deter them and keep them away. Nope it doesn't work on cats, but maybe it will work on the dogs for you. Keep me posted will you? I am curious.
Have a glorious weekend sweet friend. Loved the photo of you and your fur babies. They have the sweetest little faces.
Many hugs and much love, Sherry
Lonnie just learned to dig a few weeks ago...he dug under the gate and escaped....TWICE! Kenny has now buried stones under the fence...so far that has worked. I'm afraid he saw either a cat or a rabbit go under the fence and he REALLY wanted to get at it!
ReplyDeleteHe and Cleopatra both dig some under our bushes and trees to make cool nesting spots in the summer....Kenny has just learned to garden around those spots. If you ask Kenny, Cleopatra is a much better "garden dog" than Lonnie.
I'm curious to hear if the spray works....wish I had more "advice"....
Oh that is the cutest picture though. They look very innocent!!! All of them!!!! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a dog and now I remember why.

Uh-oh...they are in trouble...don't know what to tell ya...GL with the spray...let us know:)
ReplyDeleteTHANKS for the input on my woodwork...we'll see what happens:)...
Have a great weekend!

We have schnauzers and one of them used to dig. She outgrew it. I know how you feel.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have good luck. Having a beautiful yard is our pride and joy, do I can relate.
What a cute post!! I just found your blog through my friend Tammy from SkiptomyEwe. She's got bassetts too. Luckily I only have a seven pound Yorkie and he doesn't do any damage!!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to hear if the spray works though, 'cause our neighbor adopted a stray HUGE cat and he likes to do the same things your dogs do!! AND he sleeps on my car's convertible top at night. (we have a carport with no doors) Keep us informed, please.
