A Fun Saturday Night....

This past Saturday was the H.S. Black and White Dance. Our school doesn't have very many dances....I guess they never really have. But a few times a year they do and they are typically the kind you have to dress up for. Our Home is usually the meeting place for the girls and their friends. This is Mallory and her friend Haylee....checking their look in the mirror before everyone else comes.

~Striking a pose~
(don't look at the mantel, haven't dressed it up yet)

Our Home is large enough to accommodate quite a few people.
But if they all congregate in one area....it's not so BIG!
For some reason I could not get them out of the center point of our Home
....all 20 people!

~14 friends~
She says she has none!
Do you ever hear that?

After pictures here it was off to dinner....for them!
Then off to the dance.
Then a few back here for a sleepover.
What a fun night.
With friends!

  2. They all look beautiful (and handsome)! My son's HS has these dances, and I always love to see them all dolled up for the evening. Fun times!

  3. Enjoy every minute of these times, they are gone before you know it. Our house was always the "meeting place" too and I sure miss it! Have a good day, Dawn

  5. Hi Spencer,
I remember those days so well! Just looking at the pictures make me a bit nostalgic for those days. I admit to missing them even though it has been so long ago. It seems when it is over there is a bit of relief...but it doesn't last long...and then the day comes when all of those dresses must have something done with them. I gave them to my daughters but I'm sure they just gave them to Goodwill. As long as I didn't have to do it.
It looks like the children were having a great time! :)

Thank you for your sweet comment. I 'm glad you liked the TEA. It was really a lot of fun.
    Hugs,

This is the first time I have been to your blog. I arrived from Mona's. Those kids look so cute and how great of you to have them all over to your house. What great memories! Now I'm off to read more postings on your sweet site.
