Three's a Collection, One's Kinda Not & some Shelfie's....

Last weekend Brad and I went antiquing.  It was a beautiful weekend
to get out and enjoy a bit of sun.  I was on the lookout for a
couple of friends for my first little brown cow with the bell.
She looked so lonely in that big ol' cupboard.  We went to a
Mega Antique Mall about an hour or so east of us.

We looked thru the whole mall and not a one to be seen.  I mean there
were probably a good 8 or more aisles to look thru, like long grocery
store aisles.  Nothing! But, up front were some locked display cases.
We saved those for last and that's where Brad found these 3.
In the very first display he looked in.

She's the one that got me started.....love that little bell!

Of course I just had to have this one....

I mean, who could resist those pink lips?

and of course, I had to mix it up a bit with this one with her
cute little black spots and those big brown eyes.....

So there, now I have my 3....I'm done, cuz 3's a collection, right?....

Well,  okay maybe one more that's kinda not....
because she fiesta red so she's more just for fun!

And she adds a pop of color on this shelf in my kitchen....

with my Shelfie's....

I found this pig at Goodwill last week when I popped in.
I just had to have "her"!

and Brad found the little bull last weekend while he was
helping me look for my cow's.....
I love my husband!

I'm not sure that they'll always be
~Shelfie's~
But for now they're pretty darn cute sitting here,
staring at me while I do the dishes!
Hmm, I wonder what other shelfie's are out there to find?
Afterall, 3's a collection and I only have 2!

What collections do you have?
Have you ever seen a Fiesta Cow creamer?

As always, Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Lisa! Can I just say envy? Jealousy? Covetous? How darling and I'm really glad you found some cousins for your sweet little cow creamer. I've gotta get out and find some more. I have found another one but she's sitting down and I'll have to post about her soon.

  4. I have never seen a Fiesta cow creamer. WHAT a find that one is. I had a pig head just like that hanging by my kitchen window to hold my towel in one of our old kitchens. Who knows-maybe THAT is the same one!;>)
Do you know Sheila over at Note Songs? She has a cow creamer that she has showcased several times....not sure if she has a "collection" though....lol xo Diana

  7. Lisa, Just popping back by to tell you thanks for the comment on my blog today. Did you know that you are a No Reply blogger when you leave a comment? No one can email you directly to say Thanks or get to know you better. Just thought maybe you didn't know. I do have the "fix" for it if you want to change it-just let me know! Have a great day! xo Diana

  8. You have quite a collection. I'm just getting started as I only have one. I purchased my cow creamer from Ross, for $3. At such a great price it had to come home with me!!

  9. Hi Lisa. Thanks for following my blog. I'm glad you did, as it led me back here. Your cow collection is adorable. That second one reminds me of Elsie, the Borden cow. Right now the only "collection" I have is 3 cobalt blue jars, and 6 cobalt blue mugs. :) It's fun to have something to hunt for, isn't it? Have a great day. ~ Nancy @ A Joyful Cottage

  12. Lisa, I popped over from Shelia's I've a herd of cow creamers too. Way down my sidebar under Labels, just click on cows to see my girls. I told Shelia I'd do a post spotlighting them again soon. I'll stop into Kohl's and see these colorful girls. I'm certain I need one!
