If I do say so myself....

The Pie was a Huge hit!

 So, if you like Rhubarb and have never made a pie

with it before, like me, I can honestly say

Try this recipe!

My husband kept asking me if I ran to the

Amish Bakery 

we visited a couple weekends ago and purchased 

this pie....Right!  He Loves Me!

 So, this morning I thought....

Why not!

and had a small piece with my coffee

Shhhh....don't tell!

No different then having a muffin....

Really!

Well, maybe a little bit....

it was Better!

As a side note, if you do decide to try this recipe 

(in my last post)

I would double the amount of Rhubarb.  Other then that

it was Perfect!  The crumble top was so buttery and crunchy

Great with my morning coffee!

like the rest of the nation we have not had rain

in so long.  Our grass is brown, our trees are drooping,

so when I heard it start, ever so softly about

2:00 a.m.

I smiled....

 I laid there awake planning my quiet morning

enjoying my new magazine that arrived in the 

mail yesterday with a cup of coffee on my porch.

I had to turn on the light....

 I sat so I could watch the rain drop on the steps.

Funny when you take such pleasure in 

the simplest things!

 This is what we have to look forward to.

 My daughter and her friends don't mind.

If you can believe it they are tired of

Swimming!

Yep, the only way to get cool, has been in the pool.

You can only swim so much....

I finally got around to making 

some Biscotti.  I enjoy making  it,

it's simple to do....

and it's a nice little treat,

in the morning

or

with a cup of coffee 

in the

afternoon!

It's Fresh from the oven!

But first I need to let it cool....

                    just for a minute,

then slice it....

                   and

return it to the oven

to brown it to.....

Perfection!

Mmm....

It smells

so
